Due to the closure of the line between Soho and Perry Barr for the week beginning 07-10-2013 6E08 1311 Wolverhampton-Immingham empty steel was routed via Birmingham New Street. As the timing coincided with my lunch hour I wandered down to the station on Wednesday 09-10-2013 with my small point and shoot camera and was pleased when 60011 emerged from New Street North Tunnel and crossed the throat of the station to gain access to platform eight .
