The Netherfield Junction to West Holmes Junction Lincoln line has been resignalled except for Swinderby which survives. Control passed to East Midlands Signalling Centre and the Boxes at Lowdham, Fiskerton Junction, Fiskerton, Staythorpe Crossing and Newark Castle have closed although Newark Castle has not been demolished.
